Vaughan Constructions celebrated the official ‘topping out’ of the Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak St George’s Redevelopment project.

Vaughan Constructions is proud to announce the completion of Australia’s largest distribution centre for German supermarket giant, Kaufland, at Mickleham in Melbourne’s north. The 100,000m² facility, which recently sold at an undisclosed price to an Australian institutional investor, includes 107,000m² of concrete hardstand, 168 recessed loading docks, 73,200m² of warehousing, office and entry building of around 4,000m², ancillary buildings of 3,700m², freezer of 10,500m² and social building of 1,000m², on a 28 hectare site.

On Thursday 18 February, Vaughan Constructions celebrated alongside our customers, Woolworths and LOGOS Group, at the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new $184m Heathwood Distribution Centre. The 42,000m² temperature-controlled facility will enable fresher, faster and more efficient deliveries of frozen and long-life chilled products to around 260 stores across Queensland and northern New South Wales.

The Vaughan Constructions team is thrilled to announce that our Frasers speculative project took home the award for Best Industrial Building at the 2020 Victorian Master Builders Awards. The project was delivered on behalf of Frasers Property, one of Australia’s leading diversified property groups. Frasers engaged Vaughan Constructions under a Design and Construct contract in a Land and Build turnkey solution.

Vaughan has cemented national warehouse and fulfilment business, McPhee Distribution Services, as a repeat customer with the successful delivery of industrial facilities in Berrinba, Queensland, and most recently, in Truganina, Victoria.

On behalf of Woolworths and Charter Hall, Vaughan Constructions delivered the state-of-the-art $135 million Melbourne Fresh Distribution Centre (MFDC) at Truganina in Melbourne’s western industrial heartland. The MFDC will allow Woolworths to deliver fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and chilled products to more than 230 Victorian supermarkets fresh, faster and more efficiently.

Vaughan Constructions is thrilled to announce the completion of a new facility for Singapore-based leading real estate development, investment, capital and property management firm, Mapletree. This facility is Mapletree’s first Australian construction project. Located in our Wyndham Industrial Estate at Truganina, the new speculative facility boasts a total of 14,740m² of warehouse area and 360m² of office space that can cater to a large range of business operational requirements.

Vaughan Constructions has completed an $11 million warehouse facility for national warehouse and fulfilment business McPhee Distribution Services at Berrinba in Queensland. The circa 13,000m², Bardon Road, building comprises a 12,000m² warehouse, offices totalling nearly 700m², hardstand of 6,000m² and a 2,200m² carpark.
